The price is right
Pods are much cheaper than the average hotel room, offering great value for money. They also have more features than the average backpacker bed, with a privacy blind, light, USB charging port, and private locker for each pod. There are eight pods per room so you can make new mates while still getting your own space - just close the blinds for privacy without the price tag!
Each pod is like a mini room
Each pod is comfy, spacious and self-contained. Included is everything you'll need - a luggage storage locker, power supply and a USB charging port, lighting, temperature control, WiFi connection and linen for the king single bed! When you roll down the blind, you won't be bothered by your roommates switching the light on at 4am. You'll be nice and cosy inside your private JUCY pod.
chill vibes in the common areas
All pod rooms are located near the shared bathroom facilities and the common areas. In Christchurch, this is a large space with hammocks, social seating and a fully-equipped kitchen. In Queenstown we took things up a level and opened a rooftop pizzeria and bar, Miss Lucy's. The rooftop lounge has soul-soothing views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables. It's a great spot to either socialise or relax with a book after a long day of adventuring.

Pods are available overnight in both locations, and with the Christchurch property being just around the corner from the international terminal it's perfect if you're in transit or in need of a rest after a long journey.
